Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is up to 46 % more effective than walking without sticks. And what’s more, it’s very easy and simple to learn. It trains the so-called aerobic endurance, i.e. it helps reduce body fat, at the same time strengthening upper body and back muscles. Nordic walking also relieves muscle tension in the shoulders and neck. It improves cardiovascular fitness, relieves the musculoskeletal system by up to 30% and is therefore particularly suitable for people with knee and back problems. In addition, Nordic walking is the most appropriate type of outdoor sport when convalescing from sport injuries. Compared to walking without sticks, calorie consumption is increased by about 30 % with Nordic walking. It’s the ideal cardio exercise for losing weight and by using the auxiliary respiratory muscles it increases the supply of oxygen to the entire body.
