It improves cardiovascular fitness, relieves the musculoskeletal system by up to 30% and is therefore particularly suitable for people with knee and back problems. In addition, Nordic walking is the most appropriate type of outdoor sport when convalescing from sport injuries. Compared to walking without sticks, calorie consumption is increased by about 30 % with Nordic walking. It’s the ideal cardio exercise for losing weight and by using the auxiliary respiratory muscles it increases the supply of oxygen to the entire body.
